About

Weaving Vitalist and Wise Woman healing traditions with evidence-based herbal and nutritional science

Welcome, I’m Christine (she/they)

I’m a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist, Fertility Awareness Method Practitioner, Birthworker, Mother, and Partner.

I believe that health and healing are multi-dimensional and that our bodies will innately move towards wholeness and vitality when given the right conditions. I take a whole-systems approach to health, which recognizes that the body is an interconnected ecosystem and that our individual healing also heals the collective.

My practice is rooted in Western Herbalism, East Asian Medicine, traditional ancestral knowledge, the Symptothermal Method of Fertility Awareness, and somatic embodiment practices.

Anchored in the principles of trauma-informed care, my approach is client-centered and affirming; it is never prescriptive. I recognize that you are the expert on your body and your experience and that healing is a dynamic, ever unfolding process.

At the core of my work is herbal medicine and the Fertility Awareness Method (FAM). I believe that using FAM with the support of plant medicine can help us nurture a relationship with our fertility and sexuality, both of which are vital to our health and well-being.

After experiencing a deeply challenging postpartum phase in 2021, I became interested in reproductive and generative health. In my quest to learn more about how I can nourish my womb and reestablish connection to my newly transformed postpartum body, I learned how to use the Fertility Awareness Method through a mentorship with Lisa Hendrickson-Jack. I now use FAM as a diagnostic and educational tool in my practice to help women and cycling folks better understand their menstrual cycles, fertility, and hormones.

I identify as a queer femme Filipinx with roots in East Texas and Southern California. There’s nothing more delightful to me than going to a farmers market, gardening in the mornings and late afternoons, botanizing native plants, and cooking my ancestral foods and sharing it with those I love. I currently call Boulder, Colorado (Ute, Cheyenne and Arapaho Native lands) home where I reside with my partner and daughter.
